Two Pied Flycatchers were at Pye's Hall this morning along with a Green Sandpiper, Greenshank, Cuckoo, Marsh Harrier and Willow Warbler.

Additionally, there was a third Pied Flycatcher and a second Cuckoo, perhaps a different Willow Warbler, plus a Whinchat, Tree Pipit, 140 Sandwich Terns, 12 Common Terns , 2 Gannets and a handful of waders along the tide-edge.

i managed 4 Pied Flys between the base & Pyes this afternoon (inc the 2 at Pyes Hall). In addition to the above there was a Common Buzzard inland of Pyes & 5 Whitethroats noted. A Whinchat close to Pyes was presumably the same bird Steve saw.

regards

Chris

So 2 at Pye's, one near Stonebridge and one at the RAF base or were there more than 4?

Evening james

I had one at the base, one in the main bushes just before the haven and Pyes (+ the 2 at Pyes itself). Didnt see the one near Stonebridge.
So at least 5 birds present.
