First proper birdwatch round my supposed patch for a very long time and was very enjoyable apart from the dog walkers!! (1040 to 1100)
Long-tailed Tits - 20+ (got my best ever views - a family group just sitting sunning themselves only feet from me) Blue Tit Great Tit Blackbird Crow Jackdaw Magpie Coot Mute Swan Mallard Swallow House Martin Swift House Sparrow Blackcap (M) Willow Warbler Reed Warbler Sedge Warbler Reed Bunting Woodpigeon Collared Dove Dunnock Common Sandpiper 4 GC Grebe (pair with 3 young) Cuckoo (1 maybe 2 heard only) ChiffChaff (heard only) Sprawk (with brunch)
Possible Marsh Harrier over
Water Voles - 2
Orange Tips (several) Speckled wood (1)
Nothing spectacular but a very nice walk.
