hmmm have thought about this at length, i think the defra man is a clever little chappie.
firstly he has kicked the can down the road for making a decision on culls etc for 3 years (after the next election ).
second he does not think he can get it through while in a coalition so he announces a 3 year study which may or may not involve at a selected estate or estates the nest removal or limited cull hidden behind the veneer of research, re japanese whaling ?? !!.
third he satisfies the tory landed gentry by launching this study where he can help them out to protect the obscene shooting and killing for fun investment and help the tory voters.
fouth by doing a 3 year study he will gauge the strength of the opposition and all the objections at a very early stage. this will help him to weave his way around the opposition having already knowledge of the objections.
fifth he satisfies all his mp,s by dangling a carrot at the hunting fraternity saying were looking, patience ( soon ). he fends everyone away by saying its only a study with no conclusions being drawn, hmmm but he will set the parameters for the study.
so folks for me, it all depends upon where you as individuals put your little kiss x at the next election, but please do not say i could not be bothered to vote, what difference can i make, the answer is it is all in your own hands everyone matters. remember what you are dealing with, mp,s are 3 times more likely to go to prison than you. they are self seeking dreedy liars who forget they are supposed to do as you want and instead promote the interests tax exiles who contribute nothing but wield enormous influence, oh i pray for a real peoples champion that actually puts the majority first. watch this space
