Another good morning of visible migration included many swifts (unfortnuately, the alpine did not materialise here), hirundines, finches and yellow wagtails etc.
The highlights were three marsh harriers and a red kite south - per RD
At 1250 a scan over Jackson Marsh from the Sykes Farm Office was rewarded with a fine red-rumped swallow moving south. HM arrived at the office a while later and reported this bird had earlier been over Tennysons Sands lagoon.
Yesterday during a moderate passage of swifts one bird was noted with a white crescent across the upper breast.
