Drake ring-necked duck back on the roadside pit with his 2 tuftie mates @ 07:20.

K On Bain

No sign of black Tern on Riverslea pit, in fact no Terns at all. However, yesterday early morning all the Common Terns were on the big island on the main lake. Lots of various warblers warbling !

Location: Baumber Park, Horncastle.
Still present at 1630hrs but not a couple of hours later when a pair of Common Tern were present on the Tern raft alongside the Oystercatcher.

Tues 8th was also the day that Swifts returned to their breeding site at Baumber Park. A small screaming party at 8AM.
