The spring migration creeps on at a dilatory pace. At Donna Nook between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall this morning there were 10 Swallows, one House Martin, 4 Chiffchaffs, 2 Willow Warblers, one Blackcap, 5 Wheatears, one Yellow Wagtail, 2 Whimbrels, 150 Brent Geese, 2 Marsh Harriers and 2 Short-eared Owls.

SL with Mark Johnson and Kevin Shone.

Pye's Hall to Stonebridge 18:30-20:30 24 04 2012

Very quiet, 1 whimbrel calling and 1 cuckoo flew out from Pye's towards Horse Shoe Point.

Regards Mark.
