Pinkies approx 1300 E-W between 0830 and 0900
Fieldfare & Redwing 300 in mixed flocks
Skylarks in good numbers singing and chasing
Mute swan
Mixed flock of Tree & House sparrow of around 40
Grey partridge pr, talking to 1 Farmer and we have 3 pr at the bottom of the airfield
A notable increase in small birds Btit/Great tit/Linnet /Greenfinch/Chaffinch/Mpip/

Sorry, but you've misunderstood Brian's post. :roll:

It's not the Partridges which were clever but the farmer, Jack Dolittle, a well-known character in Waddington. I think his father was a retired GP and Rex Harrison was a close family friend.
