Not so many big gulls, with only 160 Herring Gulls

Hi David,

I was at Thurlby between 11.30 and 13.00 on Sunday and was also surprised to see a Kingfisher scimming the surface.

Also seen was the following:-

1 Green Sandpiper
1 Kingfisher
1 Little Egret
6 Goldeneye
plus the following in numerous numbers, Gadwell, Tufted Duck, Mallard, Shoveler,Pochard, Moorhen, Coot, Little Grebe, GC Grebe, Gulls as per David but didn't get the Yellow Legged. Canada Goose,Greylag Goose.

Other birds on land included the following:- Blue Tit,Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Wren, Lesser Redpoll, Robin, Chaffinch,Goldfinch,Crow,Magpie,Buzzard,Kestrel,Fieldfare,Redwing,Blackbird.
