Russell,
You were obviously parked towards the Bardney end of the Fen as our paths didn't cross.
I arrived on the Fen at c 2.30 and by 2.45 I was watching 2 SEOs 'grappling' over the fen lane at the Wasps Nest end (Thanks to Russ Telfer for the location info).

I had parked at the Wasps Nest end by the entrance to the first barn on the left and its 3 new 'metal marquee sheds.' One cc Marsh Harrier flew up and down across the back of the nearby beetfield and a Merlin flew swiftly across in front of me.

As I was chatting to Chris Grimshaw at c 3.30, an SEO flew over our heads.

Although I stayed there until 4.05pm nothing further of note appeared.

Pleased to meet up again with Chris - also with Dean Eades and his Dad and Russ Telfer. :D :)

Freddy
