051111 1400 to 1500 hrs Churchill to Brickyard lane along foreshore return thru dunes,NNW to N f4
pink foot goose, 5 skeins low and fast towards norfolk, c500,c320, c130, c440, c 180
skylark 23, starling c700, snow bunt 4,and a distant tight flock of c90 twite or linnet.
dunes fresh in c 90 redwing, c 50 blackbird 13 song thrush and 2 woodcock.
little seen early morning same route, regards John.

Sea Watch from Gib North end between 1400 and 1615 this aft produced 13 skeins of Pinkfeet all towards Norfolk and all out at sea. 2 skeins were unseen but others numbered 90,200,320,80,170,140,110,220,620,250 and 90 totalling 2290 in just over 2 hours.

34 Whooper Swans south at 1410

Mixed flock of 14 Little Gull (all adults) and 10 Kittiwake feeding offshore all aft

3 Bonxie north, 5 R T Diver and single G C Grebe on sea

I watched several skeins flying over Huttoft this afternoon and later birds were still flying over Saltfleet calling in the dark. 10 Whoopers flew south over Huttoft. Somebody was taking potshots at the geese from land by the big house next to Huttoft pit but I didn't see any fall.
At Pyes Hall in the morning a male and ringtail Hen Harrier and a Short-eared Owl were hunting. Also there were 13 Twite and a Lapland Bunting.

same route 061111, 0635 to 0715hrs 7 skeins of pink foot c 1400 10 whooper all south,
several flocks of mixed gulls south, 6 and 11 fieldfare, 3 brambling, and 2 flocks total c 600 woodpigeon over. NW f3to4 regards John.

071111,grey dreak morning poor vis nor easterly with drizzle, 20 whoopers low over beach and c 230 mixed blackbird, redwing, and song thrush in the dunes and c 15 to 20 goldcrest, 2 brambling. John.
