Out atlasing late afternoon I made 5 stops on the road from Kelstern to Binbrook to look for Partridges and had Quail calling at 3 of them. Both Grey and red legged seen but no breeding evidence.

Just north of Binbrook at Swinhope I had 2 more Quail calling and also 2 pairs of Spotted Fly (more on Freddies fread). the only confirmed breeding species I added was a recently fledged Song Thrush.
