A guided walk today turned up a common sandpiper on Pursuit Pit and a passing little egret that headed west.

One of the Little Gulls was still over the Outdoor Pursuits pit by the vistor centre at Far Ings yesterday and showing very well.
Also of possible interest is an 'Optics Display' at Far Ings this weekend - including Monday, by Lamberts of Lancaster.
A variety of binoculars and telescopes can be tried and tested in the hide adjacent to the car park.
