I am wondering why no one who actually saw the bird has put a report on the Forum? Very strange

How long have you been a member?

Very strange going ons indeed John - didn't realise that it was back until a few minutes ago and I went to a very drafty Gib today and left my bins on the kitchen table to boot. Still I got the latest bird report - very good as usual

Not seen between 7:30am and 10:00am today but it turned up and performed well for a few hours. When on the ground is only visible from a small gap in the hedge and when the wind blows the branches away from blocking it's view.

Saw it between 1110 & 1130 today. Gave a brilliant flying display then sat on a rock / mud.

Must be my lucky day. Was in the air as I pulled up but some lads from Tamworth had been there for several hours before they saw it!

I just missed the collared pratincole on Sunday, but saw it today at about 5.15pm, hawking over the pools in Rosper Rd.

Seems to be spending less time there. I have been several times in the last three days and not seen it missing it by 30 mins today again
