3 Whooper Swans together with 2 Mute Swans in a field today 14.00hrs at Bassingham. These are the same 3 Whoopers that were on Thurlby Sand Pit about 2 weeks ago being 2 adults and 1 immature so I would be interested to no if they have been seen in between as they havn't in my knowledge been on the sand pit.

For anyone wanting to see them if you go from Thurlby to Bassingham where the 90` bend is the swans are on the right hand side. You get better viewing if you go straight on at that bend towards Norton Disney then take the 1st right track towards the 2 farm houses.

Thanks Mark

I think the Whoopers fly into Thurlby to roost.
