Golden Plover - 24 south
Skylark - 1 [ on a sod of earth with sun on it was a cracker ]
Mipit - 5
Fieldfare - 1
Plus distant waders.
Trio of forum members there.
Donna Nook: mid-afternoon
Cattle Egret seen at rear of the cattle [life tick] it was quite a way off but we got record pics.
Other than two Dunnock, one Reed Bunting and a few GBB Gulls keeping the Seals company that was it!
Horseshoe Pass: late afternoon
Golden Plover - c500 off the sea going south [ in seven groups]
Little Egret - 5+
Hen Harrier - 1
Brents - 12 over south and several on the tideline.
Twite - 19
Redshank - loads
Dunlin - loads
Oyks - loads
plus many more too far away to ID.
Enjoyed the jet flypasts.
Only saw two birders checking out the Cattle Egret as I drove down the lane to be greeted by an almost full car park, for one minute thought it was a weekend
