A couple of hours there from first light, very foggy mostly, cleared up as we left!

No owls seen but following highlights:

1 Ringtail Harrier ( near train lines)
8 Kestrel
1 Marsh Harrier
1 Common Buzzard
1 GS Woodpecker (very vocal in copse by car park)
1 Pied Wag
c40 Redwing over
3 Wren
c20 Goldfinch
5 Linnet
c20 Long Tail Tit
2 Willow Tit

Will return there for an hour or two this evening.

3 Short Eared Owl - all together, down near the train lines. :D
1 Barn Owl
10 Kestrel
9 Common Buzzard
1 Sparrowhawk
3 Grey Heron
8 Meadow Pipit

Oct 7th: 19.00 - 19.20

On way home from Spurn [report in non Lincs section ] called in the hope of seeing the SEO. By time I arrived it was misty and almost dark I could see two owls hunting yards apart between the railway and the copse further east. I believe the birds were Barn Owl because they seemed to be mostly white.
