Had a couple of hours looking at the 'big' Gulls at Kirkby yesterday. None on the Tip but about 500 on the pit next to the Tip so only 'on water' views - so challenging and I only managed to pick out:-

Caspian Gull - 1 adult and 1 3cy bird

Yellow-legged Gull - 1 ad

3 hours looking through the Gulls yesterday produced only:
Yellow -legged Herring Gull - 3 ( 1 ad, 1 2cy and 1 juv )
No Caspians.

does anyone else get attacked by the mad man from the tip / gravel works who patrols looking for unsuspecting birders and then demands you leave and never return?
