Spent three hours at an extremely murky Frampton Marsh. Optics misting up constantly - condensation everywhere - bitterly and penetratingly cold - thoroughly miserable

SUPPLEMENTARY FROM VISIT 13:50 - 16:45:

Pintail - 4 males seen from East Hide
Pinkfoot - with flock of Greylag Geese
Twite - missed again for the third time on the bloomin' trot!! Will I EVER see the blighters?

Little Egret - 1
Barn Owl - 3 hunting through the murk and mist :D
Lapwing - everywhere I turned my scope!
Great Crested Grebe - 1
Snow Bunting - 4 seen
Lapland Bunting - 10

The raptor watchpoint is a bench overlooking the saltmarsh, accessed by walking south along the seabank from the main steps for about 500m.

Also seen today:

Waxwing - one landed in the hedgerow near the visitor centre for a coupl eof minutes this afternoon before flying off into the mist.

Lapland bunting - 7+ on the scrapes
