As always I have peep through back bedroom curtain as I get up to see what is on the feeders, otherwise if I draw the curtains the birds fly off, there was the usual ones there.

Never spent so long watching the garden both the rear and front, and aloft. In total spent six hours off and on, managed to get another life tick for the garden and another bird hadn't been as far I know for 10-15 years. The following are my sightings both in the garden and over it:

Blackcap - 1m [lifer] pics and video. :D
Bullfinch - 1m [first visit for many years, but only for half a minute] :)
Lesser Redpoll - 2 [m & f ] pics and video :D
Chaffinch - 4
Goldfinch - 15
Greenfinch - 14
Dunnock - 3
Robin - 1
Blackbird - 1pr
Starling - 23
Great Tit - 2, Coal Tit - 1, Blue Tit - 1, House Sparrow - 11, Wood Pigeon - 3, Feral Pigeon - 1, Collared Dove - 4

Jackdaw - 11 over, Black-headed Gull - 13 over, Common Gull - 4 over, Rook - 1 over, Crow - 2 over.

That is far better than my last few visits to MSQ!

Regards

John :D
