4 Shore Larks still present and showing very well this morning, Tues 10th, feeding on sea lavender seeds.

Also:-
36 Snow Buntings
c70 Twite
4 Stock Doves on beach
1 White-fronted Goose flew N
2 Gannets, adult & 1st year, flew N

Hi Andy,
Thanks again for kindly giving me a call earlier today.
When we got to the beach the birds were nowhere to be seen but we put that down to the fact that a dog walker was in the area. After a good look round we were just about to leave when I spotted them, so they had probably been away and had then flown back. There were 5 Shore Larks present this afternoon.

Update - Thu 12 November.

Visit - 11.00-12.45. (c 12/15 birders there).

Shorelark 5 - they came to within c40 yards of us
Snow Buntings - increased flock size up to c60
Twite - increased flock size of up to c70 mixed in mainly with the Snow Buntings
- a terrific sight as the mixed flock took off from time to time and briefly circled around.
-again, the mixed flock occasionally approached to within c40/50 yards of birders.

Cheers Guys, hope to visit them Sunday with perhaps dropping in on the DN seal colony - might be a Glaucous amongst them. This time last year there was the D Wheatear, SG Shrike, and G Gull in close proximity (location wise)! Dipped on the D Wheatear though so hope the Shorelarks hang around!

A flock of 28 stock doves flying in the same area on friday afternoon,
and the mixed flock of twite,snow bunts and shorelark still present,sat

151109, shorelark + c 80 snow bunting and similar number twite,
also seen today, 6 whooper swan south at 0700 and 11 south then settled on sea off Theddlethorpe c 1400 hrs also 1 great skua and Adi Royal picked up on a single swallow passing over then seen by several
persons present, (and the latest of the year i,ve seen in Lincs),c220 crow this morning per Cliff Morrison, at least 6 people present seeing shorelark for the first time in good sunny mild conditions ,

think every man and his dog followed the same venues yesterday, i arrived about 12.15 superb views of an increasingly difficult bird to see, though they never have been easy. nice to see john again and had a discussion about covenham improvements etc, didnt see mick and mandy till i was going and then it was through a scope, missed the swallow. went to saltfleet
30 twite
merlin
then on to grainthorpe sniffing for a harrier but wildfowlers were on the marsh with dogs but

very little else, with more wildfowlers arriving as i left at 16.00 hrs

Thought it was you I saw! I was there with Max/John, (Mick was working so couldnt go) Think we passed you in the car at Grainthorpe Haven too?? Just had a Barn Owl there and a few Lapwing.
