At least 4 more there at dusk.

Trafic horrendous due to accident at Potter Booths so having dodged lorries,buses etc using that narrow lane didn't have opporunity to stop and scan.

Whooper Swan - 4 now, in field at the R. Witham end of the Fen
Mute Swan - 13
Barn Owl
Little Owl - in usual corner barn by the large stacks of hay
Merlin
Kestrel
RL Partridge - c80 in 2 large coveys
-there may be fewer now as a lot of shooting was heard later
Golden Plover - c150
Lapwing - c800
Fieldfare - c75 feeding on roadside berries
Grey Heron - 2
Cormorant.
