a female Redstart the only migrant of note but 2 Goldcrests one coming in off the sea over the saltmarsh -- an incredibly bad day after 3 days of SE winds; later walked most of Rimac and saw not a single migrant bird in the willow hedge -- what has happened to the autumn

on a more +ve side a Black Brant or close cousin at Pyes plus 2 Pale-bellied Brents and 300 Dark-bellied Brents
