 Post subject: Saltfleet.

An all day effort at Saltfleet today saw the following being seen:

64 Blackbird
11 Song Thrush
22 Redwing
2 possibly 3 Firecrest(1 male in Conifers near toilet block along sea lane,then 2 together in Toby's Hill nature reserve).
12 Little Egret
4 Sparrowhawk
2 Lapland Bunting(South)
1 Shorelark(Found feeding out on the developing dune ridge,then flew south)
5 Twite
2 Great-spotted Woodpecker
1 Chiffchaff
3 Brambling
1 Grey Wagtail

Another firecrest in the paradise trees (north end of saltfleetby nnr)
also 3 flocks of siskins over south, 23, 18, 21. a female marsh harrier seaview foreshore and a f merlin ,haven, Skidbrooke foreshore,
c 2400 golden plover 2 lapland bunts, 11 snipe, 78 curlew, 86 brent,
15 to 20 rock pipits. cheers John.
