A rather boring afternoon was pleasantly revived by the sight of a Bittern climbing a bush,then dropping back down,flying a few yards then dissapearing into the reeds,good views for a minute or two,got C mike onto it and mal,and broke the fact that bittern has been my bogey bird at msq,only seeing one before,then not all of it!!!.
Once Bittern twice shy now disproved.
Nice to see and more important to have one on the Reserve.
30+ Redwings,
Resident green sand,
Rog,with C mike and Mal.
