there appears to be no name added to these Reported reports which makes them rather less than illuminating -- any chance of adding a monica Andy?

A RTP in a SW gale with not a single Scandinavian migrant in the UK seems rather fanciful but now BBRC have ditched them its open season for call only claims

An RLB went over Flamborough at 0920, obviously not the Gib bird, which if it continued to coast couldn't have got past Theddlethorpe in that time (assuming a flight speed of circa 10m/s). I never did understand why BBRC accepted flyover RTPs considering how similar OBP's calls are....

I can't add much to the pipit record other than it called distinctly and consistently three times as it passed south in strong light. As I am a bit rusty on the call I put the news out as probable (although I can't really attribute that call to anything else) to generate some interest in following up in case it lanbded in the dunes to the south. No other birders on site though to my knowledge.

Cheers

Kev
