what a good first to farlings for 7am today for three hours not a lot to report then on to toft newton only to find onthe way out dean going to toft stoped to to talk four five mins then of to chambers wood only to see male @femail woodpeckers on the feeders . a redpole a robin sat on gate .and watchet ron feed the birds . after hour sated to come as we turned right out of the woods .as we did half a mile down the road we had to stop as 30+ crows had got one buzzad to the ground and the other over the top of my car flying away very fast as the crows was after it time we got out of my car with camare it was all over i nefer seen anything like that before . my wife @my freind inthe car sayed what a show .

And I thought birdwatching was a quiet and gentle hobby! Definitely a case of right place, right time - although perhaps not for the buzzard!
