Some observers on Nocton Fen have reported counts of Red Legged Partridge. Perhaps I should bring to the notice of contributors to the forum that thousands (The keeper's word) of Red Legged Partridges are reared and released on the Nocton Estate and so there is a good chance that any seen are not birds of wild origin.
Greys are of course a different matter. I saw two pairs last Sunday morning and the keeper is aware of only three pairs on Nocton Fen this year.
