Far Ings this morning 6-15am-1pm.

I was delighted to be stopped in my tracks by a singing Chiffchaff in the bushes behind Reedy Hide :D :D . It sang on and off for about 15mins before moving on. It certainly put a smile on my face! Presumably its an over-wintering bird. Couldnt pin down the reported Cettis :(

Also great views of 2 Marsh Harrier, a brief visit by the young male but the female showed very well on and off all morning :D

Also:

1 Bittern
2 Willow Tit
1 Grey Heron
Curlew over
4 Reed Bunting (m)
1 Bullfinch (m)
Lots Tit sp
Lots Shoveller
2 GC Grebe
4 Little Grebe
2 Song Thrush
4 Mute Swan
4 Fieldfare
Few Pochard, Gadwall, Teal and Tufted Duck
A few Robin and Wren

Mandy

A very pleasant morning despite the wind and more clouds than sun
