Nick,
That's a very exact 10 figure grid reference. Can you confirm to within how many metres it should be correct. Some of us dither over a 6 figure reference but 10 is pure refinement! (Or,perhaps, because it was a "Little" Owl and not a larger Owl species you needed to be more helpful and more exact in its location?)

Hi Freddy

I was at work when I spotted the Little Owl and I routinely book in jobs with a 10 figure grid reference using digital mapping, so it was habit which made me give such a grid reference. I can’t guarantee that the grid reference is for the centre of the bird and it may be for the tip of the outstretched wing, apologies if this is the case. :D
