Those interested in Dragonflies, might like to know that a female Black-tailed Skimmer was present in Scunthorpe Central Park, close to the A18
on the afternoon of 19/6/2007.
The first of this species I've found within the Scunthorpe boundary.

Under the influence of a lovely bottle of Italian Pinot Grigio Rose Wine, I am not in the least bit ashamed to say I made a mistake !!!
I have had loads of BT Skimmers at Ashbyville Lake, so you can cancel my comment that this was my first Scunthorpe Skimmer. Burrrp !!!
