Hadn't been for almost a year, so decided I'd go for a few hours. They have made a new car park for the disabled and staff. A few new advisory boards had been erected and all the seating had been given a lick of paint.

I arrived at 4.00pm and left at 7.00pm. Not many there, but those who were all had a chat.

As I had let my membership expire last year [due to illness] I paid the £2 concession admission charge.

If I put all my sightings down, I will incur the wrath of some of the admin team. So I will only mention a few, if anyone wants to know the full list send me a PM.

Swallow
Sand Martin
Tree Sparrow
Dunnock
Robin
Blackie
Blue Tit
Magpie
Crow
Chaffinch
Wren
Pheasant
Ruddy Duck
Tuftie
Pochard
Shoveler
Mallard
Wood Pigeon
Moorhen
Coot + juvs
Lapwing
BH Gull
Common Gull
Teal
Gadwall
Shelduck
Greylag
Mute Swan
Little Grebe
GC Grebe

Plus resident Rat, eating whatever fell from Bird Table and Feeders.

Cheers
Max

hello Max.
Being a RSPB reserve, surely it must be ok to report whatever you see there since it does tell you whats breeding on the reserve on their website.

Hi Colin,

After what as happened in the last few days I'm playing safe. I rarely visit their website. There were only two species that I left off my list.
