Saw my first inland Common Tern of the year at Rutland today.

At least 3 Great Northern Divers still in the Dam area at Noon.

Male Ruff in Summer plumage reported!

Chifchafs, Willow Warblers and Blackcaps in large numbers!

Plenty of Sand Martins, and a Swallow (also House Martin Reported!).

Even better on my return next day at Rutland.

Sandwich Tern (But missed the Artic Tern!)

and at Eyebrook Res

Green Winged Teal - Less than 100 yards out!

Down to earth Thursday - Going to Marston STW !
