This plant (Potentilla palustris) has, for several years, maintained a very tenuous hold at Linwood Warren LWT Reserve. Regular readers are aware that I play golf just over the road at Market Rasen Golf Club. After a wayward shot into a wet area, the search for the ball proved fruitless. However, I found a healthy number of Potentilla p. plants instead. I am not a great botanist but, as far as I am aware, this is a first record for the species at that location. Unless, of course, one of you knows different?

I checked the same area on the Golf Course yesterday and there are still a good number of plants despite the dry weather.
