I went this morning to check out the Marsh Fritillaries at Chambers Farm Wood ( Little Scrubbs Meadow) Bardney. Initially, there was a fair amount of cloud but then the sun made a protracted appearance.

In all, I recorded 9 Marsh Fritillaries, settled/in flight, plus 4 (male) Orange Tips and Spp White.

The Butterfly Garden at the Centre is an attractive site with a host of flowers/blossom due to appear in the near future.

Moth Night will be from 9pm on Sat 25th July. The Open Day will follow on Sun 26th July with The Walk starting at 11.00.
