April 14th:

It seems my garden is a bit late compared to most even though there are lots of flowers in bloom.

After arriving home from Leeds as it was a nice sunny day sat in back garden for a few hours and in more ways than one was well pleased I did.

First on scene was a male Brimstone on the Honesty.
Next passing through was Small T/shell & a Peacock.
Then a Small White on the Ribes flowers.

While sitting there I spotted a pair of Blackbird going in and out the privet, so fetched camera and spotted 3 juvs managed about 50 pics then battery ran out (will put this on other section in a mo).

Here's to a better year than last.

Cheers

Max :D

July 3rd: Small T/shell - 2
July 12th: Small T/shell - 1
July 15th: Large White - 1
July 17th: Gatekeeper - 2 (got pic of one) from inside house couldn't quite make out if it was one or the Meadow Brown, but the pic showed the G'keeper, it was on the Viola's then the Viburnum. Pleased as punch! Later spotted what this year is a rarity a Large White. Small T/shell going in back place.

Most of the buddleia are in flower but as yet not seen anything on them!

Kind regards

John

July 20th: Comma on buddleai , Large White - 2 on lavender

July 31st: Small T/shell - 1, Large White - 2, Small White - 1.

Aug 2nd: Peacock - 1 went in outhouse.
Aug 5th: Small White - 2 , Large White - 2.

Poor old do, distinct lack of Large White compared with other years but other years had a proper summer!

Some strange reason the smilies won't work.

Toodle pip
