Converting the sunshine into Vit D and trying to forget the pulled muscle in me back.

Small T/shell - 1 passing through
Peacock - 1 resting on me chair
Brimstone - 1m passing through

June 12/13th: Speckled Wood on forsythia.

June 21st: Brimstone - 1m on magnolia

June 22nd: Speckled Wood on holly

June 23/24th: Painted Lady - 1 on un-named tree each time.

Buddleia just coming into flower.

Buddleais in flower but not seen owt on either, having a ten foot privet hedge sheltering one and a conifer/trees the other not much chance owt will see them :(

July 18th: Red Admiral - 1 on weigelia, Speckled Wood - 1 passing by, GV White - 3, Large White - 3, Small White - 2.

July 21st: Speckled Wood - 1

July 23rd:

Holly Blue - 1, Small T/shell - 1, Peacock - 1 & Speckled Wood - 1

July 24th: blue Butterfly not close enough for ID.

July 25th: Lots of Large White, Peacock - 1.

July 27th: Common Blue - 1, Peacock - 1, Small T/shell - 1.

Well pleased!

No Gatekeepers here but seen plenty on my travels :D

July 28th:

Just been checking my Gatekeeper records on here and it looks like my last one was 19/07/07 crikey didn't realise it was that long!

Sat in garden having a mug of tea and biscuits yesterday spotted a small b'fly land on the Ribes and then flew off, thankfully it came back and after last weeks haul on the patch, I could clearly see it a Gatekeeper, YAHOO!

Also had better total than of late: Holly Blue - 1, Large White - 5, Peacock - 1 on buddleia, Small T/shell - 2 on magnolia, GV White - 1 on magnolia, Small White - 1.

A brill day!

July 31st:

Red Admiral - 1 on the underneath of a seed feeder in front garden, odd.
Several White's.

Aug 4th:

Holly Blue going towards the ivy after flying alongside the privet.
Peacock up against the patio door.
Small T/Shell checking out the tomato plants and then going down back garden.
Several White
