Post subject:  Advice needed in Louth!

Can someone advise on the following?
I have just heard that a listed building, (old stables) next to the rectory in Louth, is due to be restored as a 'mews cottage' with work starting tomorrow (14th). Planning permission was granted in 2005 with the proviso that if work hadn't started within 1 year, a full environmental survey must be undertaken.
Living next door, I'm not convinced that this has been done and we have a number of bats flying around our garden. They may be roosting in this building (many roof slates are missing so ample access) or they may come from the church. I'm just concerned that building will commence without the necessary checks.

I'd be happy for someone with greater knowledge than mine to phone me for further details, (07816-543538) or visit the site yourself, but be quick!

Regards
