Due to the fact it was a nice sunny day and predicted to be a dry night I thought I would stick the moth-trap out in the garden. However, as a frost was also predicted here I didn't have much hope for the morning's catch so I was pleasently surprised with the following:
Oak Beauty 1
Early Grey 1
Clouded Drab 3
Hebrew Character 3
Common Quaker 1

8 moths in my garden trap last night:-
2 Hebrew Character
2 Common Quaker
2 Small Quaker
2 Clouded Drab

I have also caught in the last week:-
Early Grey
Yellow Horned
Oak Beauty
Twin-spotted Quaker

Could have done with one or either of you this morning to ID a couple of specimens. I really must get a Moth book!
