I don't know if other mothers are having a poor season so far but I'm well behind on species diversity and abundance in my garden this year compared to previous years. Had trap out on Friday night (20 June) with the following:
Marbled Minor type 1
Heart and Dart 3
Motted Rustic 1
Pale Mottled Willow 1
Setaceous Hebrew Character 1
Buff Ermine 1
Willow Beauty 1
Cheers

I totally agree. My moth trap has been a waste of time so far this year.
