Anthony Did you get any photos? Privets tend to be earlier in year but Convolvulus hawk quite similar and they occur at this time of year. Regards Brian |

There is one in the photo album now. My dad did mention that this is very late in the year for these moths normally out June and July. |

Anthony Just looked at picture and as suspected a convolvulus hawk. A great find of a very uncommon migrant moth in Lincs. Never seen one in over 10 years of mothing in Britain. Cheers Brian |
