Hello Andrew I'd heard from friends reports of otters in the drain and the River Witham at Washingborough and went with them yesterday afternoon. There from 14.45 to 16.45 but had no luck seeing the otters. However we did get several views of a Kingfisher and also a fly past by a Barn Owl. A pair of Goosander were on the drain

Cheers Colin

one was seen last week in a roadside drain Theddlethorpe, not far from the Great eau, where they are seen more regularly.
