I've seen quite a few Stoats in areas that I frequent and also here but I've never seen one kill it's prey and take it off to it's den! Ed missed seeing it grab the rabbit [ there were two rabbits relaxing when one was collared and the other got away] because he has arthritis in his neck but we both watched in amazement as it dragged it's prey to it's den and disappear! About ten minutes later it emerged and went looking for the other bunny we reckoned, it came back empty-handed ten minutes later and went back to the den, and that was the last we saw of it.

Unfortunately I'd left the camcorder at home because both the internal and external memory is full #-o .

Remembering the Stoat v. Snowball incident a couple of year back was amazing but this latest episode wins hands down. :D
