My wife had a bit of a shock when she found a Ferret in the caravan, she managed to shoo it outside (good job we have no baby on board). It appears a man had been selling ferrets at the local car boot sale, he sold one to a boy but said he got rid of the rest. The next we heard was two were seen together on Saltfleet beach, so it appears he released them on the NNR.
There is a reasonable amount of rabbits here although they have a hard time with hunters, dogs and myxamatosis.
I should imagine it's illegal to release ferrets on a NNR. I'll keep an eye out for them but keep the caravan door shut.
