On way to Duck Hide caught sight of a Stoat rolling or pushing a fair sized snowball [also seen later by another guy I know ] it saw me and hid behind a pile of reeds or whatever near to the corner where we turn right to the hide. I stopped and hoped it would come out and it did and we both stared at each other for about a minute. If it hadn't been snowing like Billy I'd have digiscoped it or taken a photo. What a fantastic sight!!!! For those of you with DSLR's would a great photo you would have got. By the way it looked as if the Stoat had started the task from very close to the hide as it was clear to see the tracks of snowball and it's pusher lol I was first one there so no tracks other than his and mine.

This was definately the highlight of the day. :D :D

Kind regards

John
