Post subject:  Lesser Redpoll

This bird visited my garden feeder several times during February, March and even appeared once in April. I proved difficult to read the ring and took many photos and playing about with photoshop and with the aid of a magnifying glass before I got the number. In the end it didn't travel very far to get to my feeders. It just raises the question of why Lincoln for a couple of months and why it didn't stay where it was ringed. Fascinating really
Bothamsall is close to Clumber Park
