The "fall" on the coast over the weekend 12th/13th was in conditions not conducive to ringing due to the rain and wind so we have done a limited amount in the last two days. Plenty of birds were still about and we ringed over 230 including 78 Goldcrests, 70 Robins and an incredible 51 Chiffchaffs. The Group's 5th Pallas's Warbler was a bonus as was a Grey Wagtail. the highlight was a "northern" Treecreeper, paler bird with a brilliant white supercillium. We also controlled Kestrel EX81829 if anyone recognises it. We always see Steve Lorand who was the only birder!

Hi Stuart,

Apologies I didn't recognise the number as it was not one that I've ringed, but this is one of ours.
This Kestrel was ringed by Brian Leonard on 21/06/2013 at Howell Fen, nr Sleaford, as a chick in a brood of five.

Duration 113 days - distance 60Km - direction 30 Degrees.

Alan
