Post subject:  Greenfinch

Hello, had this Greenfinch hit house window back in june, the bird recovered and was released successfully. The BTO have just got back to me, and here are the results:


Ringing Scheme: London Ring Number: TT01562 Species of bird: Greenfinch


This bird was ringed by Mid-Lincs RG as age 2nd year , sex male on 02-Mar-2013 at Whaplode Fen, Lincolnshire
OS Map reference TF3220, co-ordinates 52deg 46min N 0deg 3min W.

It was found on 02-Jun-2013 at Poplar Farm, Sloothby, Lincolnshire
OS Map reference TF4970, co-ordinates 53deg 12min N 0deg 14min E.
The bird was Sick: now released Hit Glass
Remarks =window

It was found 92 days after it was ringed, 52 km from the ringing site, direction NNE.
