It was interesting in that an adult male and a juvenile Cetti's Warbler were ringed at Marston at the end of July. The juvenile was very recently fledged confirming breeding there. As if that was not enough, two more juveniles and an adult female were ringed by Keith yesterday there.

A German ringed Sedge Warbler there was also most unexpected.

A fifth youngster trapped at Marston today was at a different post juvenile moult stage than other young suggesting that there have been at least two broods on site...........unless we are now starting to get birds from away.
