Regular Little Egret at Gib this year. Ringed Orange U, Yellow 6. This bird was ringed by Blackburn Leighton & Moores as age nestling, sex unknown on 31-May-2008 at near The Laurels Farm, Terrington St Clement, Norfolk OS Map reference TF5623, co-ordinates 52deg 47min N 0deg 19min E. Colour marks right below knee: M, left above knee: ON(U), right above knee: YN(6) It was found on 07-May-2012 at Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire OS Map reference TF5558, co-ordinates 53deg 6min N 0deg 19min E. The bird was Sight record by non-ringer Identified by Colour Ring(s) Remarks It was found 1437 days after it was ringed, 36 km from the ringing site, direction N. Regards Nige |
