Post subject:  Coastal Ringing 4th-7th October

Since 1976 the Mid-Lincs RG has only ringed 2 Yellow-browed Warblers. On the 5th at Donna Nook we ringed a third and were astonished to catch a further THREE in our normal net sites the following day. Surprisingly, there were very few other passage migrants about. By today, there was no sign of them. We ringed a total of 170 birds between 4th-7th with a good number of finches including 2 Brambling and a Siskin.
